Crash
I just saw it for the second time. A friend I was with said it best when he said, "I'd rather the film trigger a response, whether positive or negative, than not." I agree. Here's to thought-provoking, debatable films!

Hey Suds,
I was checking out Ithaca (probably going to apply there and study film), and I found your blog. Anyway, I saw Crash, and I thought it was amazing. Good writing and acting on the whole. Anyway, how could your friend not think Crash provoked a response? Doesn't he remember the girl running out saying, "he doesn't have the invisible cloak"? The whole storyline with the cop, and how he had to rescue that black woman from the accident? Anyway, as long as you and your friend enjoyed it, that's all that matters.
